Chocolate chip cookies are a go-to favorite dessert, sweet snack, or after-school treat. With this super easy and healthy recipe, you'll have delicious chewy chocolate chip cookies to serve and enjoy in no time!
Yields approx 10 cookies
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1 heaped tbs pure almond butter
5 medjool dates (pitted)
1 tbs pure maple syrup
1 heaped tbs cacao powder
few drops natural vanilla essence
pinch himalayan crystal salt
1-2 tbs dairy free chocolate chips
1 - Place all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor and blend to a dough, stir in chocolate chips.
2 - Shape dough into flat cookies and place on a lined baking tray.
3 - Bake for 5 - 10 mins on 180 degrees celcius. These cookies will burn quite easily if left to long. The aim of placing them in the oven is only to slightly harden them.
4 - Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
Suggestion: Can also be enjoyed raw!
