On April 8 2017, The Divine Company & Rawspirations hosted the Divine Rawspirations High Tea Event at the stunning venue called  The Avalon On The Beach in Sydney and what an amazing fun filled day it was!

Upon arrival Dwyane Martens, Founder of superfood company Amazonia Co,  along with his team whipped up mouthwatering acai superfood bowls adorned with healthy fruit and berry toppings. Followed by a mouth-watering afternoon tea that featured raw and baked vegan and vegetarian sweet and savoury treats, as well as Bonics bio-dynamic champagne, red wine and cold pressed juices hosted by myself and The Avalon On The Beach.

The venue was absolutely stunning and the staff were so helpful and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I really can’t thank them enough for all their help. I highly recommend  The Avalon On The Beach to anyone looking to host a special occassion. I can only imagine how breathtaking having a wedding or birthday party here would be with the ocean as the backdrop, the delicious food and large space that can accomodate 120+ persons.

The purpose of the event, (led by Therese Kerr), was about empowering people to wellness in every aspect: food, sleep, what we bath and shower in to what we put on our bodies and in our mouth every day. During the presentation, Therese shared how simple changes have lasting impacts on our health and wellbeing. She then went onto explain the importance of introducing antioxidant-rich certified organic nutrition into our diets to support our bodies to help prevent illnesses and remove toxins. Most illnesses are in fact linked to environmental factors of some sort, minimising and/or removing toxins in all aspects of our lives, from the foods we eat to what we lather ourselves in everyday. By consuming anti-oxidant rich, certified organic, (non chemical-filled) nutrition and by removing everyday products that contain cancer-causing, endocrine disrupting, obesogenic chemicals and replacing them with healthier alternatives, it can drastically mitigate the ageing and illnesses that we have become so accustomed to.
